Former military training ground “Lieberose”
The Foundation has great plans for the area near Lieberose. With its unique natural heritage and typical glacial landscape, it is predestined to be assigned the status of national park which will also benefit the region’s economy. In order to promote the region’s potential on the ground, the Foundation set up a branch office in Lieberose.

The wilderness areas of the former military training grounds of Jüterbog, Heidehof and Lieberose are valuable natural regions in Brandenburg that are of great importance to the supraregional network of biotopes. The Foundation has recognised this significance and launched a project with the aim of establishing an ecological network encompassing its land and further nature-oriented forest and water habitats.
